By downloading or using Vidsmith, you agree to these terms. They cover Vidsmith for iPhone (App Store) and Vidsmith for Android (Google Play).
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Vidsmith on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service or the Google Play Terms of Service, depending on where you got the app.
Videos you process with Vidsmith are yours. Processing happens entirely on your device; we claim no rights over your content. When you choose Share, the selected app can receive the exported file under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the videos you process.
Vidsmith Pro unlocks 4K export, unlimited exports, and higher GIF frame rates and widths; on iPhone it also unlocks batch processing and custom target sizes. Available options include weekly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase that does not renew. The app and store purchase sheet show the applicable local price, billing period and terms before you confirm. Availability and features may vary by platform and device. Purchases are restored through the store account used to buy them; a purchase on one platform does not automatically grant a purchase on the other.
On iPhone, payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
On Android, payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; if you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. You can manage or cancel anytime in the Google Play app under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
If you already subscribe and buy Lifetime, your subscription is not canceled automatically; cancel it yourself so you are not charged again.
The free tier includes a limited number of exports per day. Limits may be adjusted over time.
Do not use Vidsmith to process content that is unlawful or that you have no right to use.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vidsmith is provided “as is”. Always keep your original videos; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, indirect damages, or damages exceeding the amount you paid for the app in the past twelve months.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Applicable consumer law takes precedence over conflicting provisions.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
